media installation: wooden donation box, wooden platform,
postcards, calligraphy on Nepalese paper.
This
installation is the result of an invitation by the Kiasma
Museum of Contemporary Art in Kiasma, Finnland, to participate
in a Himalayan trek outside Katmandu. While in the mountains,
the artist was inspired by the landscape, but troubled with
the poverty he had experienced in Katmandu. Remembering
similar trips to the Chinese country.
