About the Artist:

Sally Feng was born and raised in China where she graduated from the prestigious Tianjin Institute of Fine Arts. There, she studied with and was influenced by many artists. In 1999 she moved to the United States. She continued her training at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Feng is an oil portraitist, sumi-e artist and art teacher. Her work has been exhibited at many solo and group art shows nationally and internationally. Between 2012-2015, Mrs. Feng had five solo art exhibits on Long Island and Queens New York. In 2013 She was presented with an award at the Sumi-e Society of America’s 49th annual national juried exhibition. In the same year, her work was selected for inclusion in the 2013 GE Asian Awareness Cultural Art Exhibit in Connecticut. In 2014 Ms. Feng had a solo exhibition of her work at the Bateer Gallery in Beijing, China. In 2016, Ms. Feng’s work was selected for inclusion in a unique Exhibit called “Ink Imagists, Modern Ink Paintings”, at the Tenri Gallery in Manhattan, which showed works by a small group of artists from Japan, Taiwan and the United States. Ms. Feng is currently the President of the Asia Artists Association of New York and is a member of Asia Artists Association of U.S.A, and a member of Long Island Chapter of the Sumi-e Society of America.
