Artist's Short Bio: Altina Pierro Vergata has had the privilege to study Sumi-e painting with several acclaimed artists, among them,Gan Yu, Huisheng Li, Max Gimblett & Paul Siudzinski. A former president of the Long Island chapter of the Sumi-e Society of America,a charter member of the Asian Artists Association of USA, as well as a participant in the Town of Oyster Bay Rotational Art Exhibits for five years, Altina continues to be inspired by her mentors, fellow painters and travel experiences.
