Painting by  Terry Kimmel

Terry Kimmel, "Quiet Winter", ink on rice paper, 22" x 19"

About the Painting:

I enjoy looking at nature. This landscape was painted on a cold day in January when I was looking through the glass of

a bay window. The glass enclosed the interior space and opened the exterior space for contemplation and reflection. It was the rhythm of the landscape that I hoped to capture as the brush and ink moved across the paper.
